LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

The season finale of MTV’s “Rock the Cradle” — brought out one of music’s biggest stars — Britney Spears.

Brit made her surprise appearance at the finale of the children-of-rock stars reality competition to support her former manager and judge on the show, Larry Rudolph, Us Weekly reports.

“She was here to support the show. I mentioned to her that I was going to my show. She said, ‘I want to come down.’ She loved it. She really loved it,” Larry told Us. “She didn’t come here for publicity or anything like that. She came here because she wanted to see the show, which I appreciated.”

Brit reportedly sat backstage during the show with security surrounding her.

The “Rock the Cradle” finale featured the musical talents of Jess Blaze Snider (son of Dee Snider), Chloe Lattanzi (daughter of Olivia Newton John), and Crosby Loggins (son of Kenny Loggins). Loggins apparently rocked the cradle the hardest, winning the competition.
