LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Brody Jenner has found his new bro.

Luke, from Medford, Mass., was the winner of MTV’s first season of “Bromance,” which chronicled Brody’s search for a new pal.

Nine guys from across the country were flown to LA and put through a series of challenges to determine who the best fit was for Brody’s crew.

So what was it that set Luke apart from his “Bromance” counterparts?

“He’s very loyal. Very down to earth. Cool, fun and brings something to the table,” Brody told AccessHollywood.com over the weekend at the DirecTV Celebrity Beach Bowl in Florida.

“And a little crazy too,” pal Frankie Delgado added.

But Brody had to wait to hang out with his new bud after the show finished taping until the finale aired on February 2. Until then, Luke was sent back home to Massachusetts, but he and Brody kept in touch.

“We’ve been talking,” Brody added.

And while he was happy to add a new member to his bro-tourage, Brody said the process of eliminating one potential friend each week wasn’t easy.

“All the guys were good people. The worst part about the show was having to get rid of someone,” he said. “I love all of the guys and it’s a bummer. But there had to be a winner.”

Now that his crew is one member stronger, will Brody continue his reality quest for more friends with a second season of “Bromance?”

“We’ll see,” Brody concluded. “You can never have too many friends.”
