LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Brooke Mueller’s mother, Moira Fiore, is shooting down rampant Internet reports claiming that her daughter was forcibly taken to rehab on Thanksgiving after photos of a disheveled Brooke surfaced over the weekend.
Access spoke with Fiore, who came to LA to spend the holiday with her family, and she told Access that her daughter “was not and is not in rehab.”
The morning after Thanksgiving, Fiore said she asked Brooke to go to the hotel where Fiore’s sister and brother-in-law were staying for coffee. Brooke left the house in pajamas to stop for coffee without even giving it a second thought, leading to Brooke’s unkempt appearance in paparazzi photos, according to Fiore.
Fiore added that the tall man pictured in the photo with Brooke is her sober companion (Brooke has had a sober companion for six months, following her last stint in rehab).
Additionally, Fiore told Access that she, Brooke and their family had dinner at Rick Hilton’s father’s house on the evening before Thanksgiving, and spent Thanksgiving night at Brooke’s house.
Brooke’s twin babies (with soon-to-be ex-husband Charlie Sheen), Max and Bob, were with Brooke on Thanksgiving, and have been with Brooke “all along,” according to her mother.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Charlie and then-wife Brooke both filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on November 1.
In June 2010, an online report claimed Brooke was in rehab –a claim her rep denied.
“Brooke is not in rehab. She elected to receive professional help in an area called stress management,” the rep told Access at the time. “Brooke recognized it would be in her best interest to deal with personal issues involving stress that had the potential of challenging her sobriety. So by seeking guidance, she’ll be able to resist returning to old behavior patterns.”
Brooke is currently shooting a new, still untitled reality series with Paris Hilton and her mom, Kathy Hilton, for the Oxygen Network.
A premiere date for the new project has yet to be set.
