LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Cameron Diaz is in “Green Hornet” talks no longer — she’s joined the cast of the movie.
Over the weekend, the blonde actress confirmed she is set to star in the “Green Hornet” alongside Seth Rogen.
“Yeah, I am,” Cameron told AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman at Comic-Con in San Diego.
Earlier this month, reports surfaced that Cameron was simply in talks to for the film, but at Comic-Con, where she was promoting her new sci-fi thriller film “The Box,” alongside James Marsden, the actress admitted she will play as one of the film’s female characters.
“I’m playing one of the gals in it,” she revealed. “It’s just a small part.”
Though her role may be small, the actress said she is thrilled to join the potential superhero franchise.
“I’m very excited about it – very excited,” she added.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Nicolas Cage is still in talks to play the villain in the big screen super hero film.
