Cameron Diaz Joins Boston Celtics At 9/11 Event

The “Charlie’s Angels” actress worked for two hours Friday with Celtics guard J.R. Giddens and forward Bill Walker, elementary school students and volunteers to build flower beds around a Boston elementary school.

Volunteers also created a basketball court, an outdoor classroom and a garden at the Young Achievers Science and Mathematics Pilot School in the Mattapan neighborhood.

Diaz was in Boston ahead of filming “The Untitled Wichita Project” with Tom Cruise next week in the central Massachusetts city of Worcester.
