It took an intimate wedding ceremony with her loved ones and Matthew McConaughey for Camila Alves to realize how important marriage is.

The newlywed – and new face of Macy’s INC International Concepts – stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Wednesday where she chatted about her June wedding.

“I did know how important [marriage] was and how really truly special it was until I went through the ceremony,” the 29-year-old third time mom-to-be told Kit Hoover and guest co-host Lisa Rinna.

“I was never the girl growing up that said, ‘I want to get married.’ I actually told my parents, ‘Don’t not expect me to get married,’” she recalled. “We both come from divorced parents. Both of our parents got divorced and got back together, twice!”

The happy couple, who are already parents to daughter Vida, 2, and son Levi, 4, have another bundle of joy on the way, something the Brazilian beauty didn’t think would happen so fast.

“I was trying to push [having another baby] back as much as I could, but it was time. This baby was ready to come,” Camila continued.

Adding, “The main thing to me is to make sure our home is peaceful, that its healthy and that the kids are good.”
