Following Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s marital issues reveal – where Dean admitted to infidelity – does Candy Spelling think her daughter should leave him?
Candy spoke with Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson about her new book, “Candy At Last,” and during their chat, she weighed on the state of her daughter’s marriage and their future as a couple.
“She feels very compelled to share her experiences in public and she’s very comfortable doing that,” Candy said of Tori’s decision to give the public a look into her marriage woes on her Lifetime show, “True Tori.”
“She is my child, my little girl. … I never want to see her hurting,” she continued.
But does Candy think Tori should leave Dean?
“Goodness no. I think he’s a wonderful father. I mean, why?” she told Shaun. “They always seemed very happy.”
Candy also weighed in on Tori and Dean’s future as a couple.
“It just depends on the two of them. I know they are trying to work it out Candy said. “I keep my fingers crossed that it does [work]. The kids adore him.”
Adding, “It’s always stronger as a family unit if they stay together.”
“Candy At Last” is available now.
