LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Legal negotiations between Carrie Prejean and Miss California USA Pageant officials took an unexpected and quick turn after an alleged sex tape featuring the dethroned beauty queen surfaced, Access Hollywood has learned.

In news first reported by TMZ, Prejean, who had been asking for $1 million in damages as a result of being stripped of her crown, was reportedly shown an alleged sex tape featuring herself by an attorney for the pageant on Tuesday, a source told Access.

According to the source, Prejean is allegedly seen, “doing very graphic things to her body.”

The source said Prejean claimed she was 17 when the video was shot.

It is not known if others are featured in the video with Prejean. TMZ described it as a “solo” performance.

But the surfacing of the alleged sex tape might not be the end to this saga.

On Wednesday, Prejean’s attorney, Charles Limandri, told RadarOnline.com that the use of the tape during negotiations could be a possible breach on contract on the part of pageant officials.

“In my 26 years of practice I have never dealt with a situation like this,” Limandri told RadarOnline.com. “It seems as if someone has acted in an unethical and unlawful manner by even raising this issue. We are weighing our options and if this is a breach of contract we are considering suing for punitive damages.”

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for Prejean said the former beauty queen had “no comment.”

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Prejean was fired in June after pageant officials accused her of missing events, an allegation that she denied. The pageant countersued Prejean last month.

The next Miss California USA will be crowned November 22.
