Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is about to become a part of the Crawford family when he marries Candice Crawford, and the beauty’s brother — “Gossip Girl” star Chace — can’t wait to welcome the athlete to their brood.

“I’m about to expand my family, absolutely,” Chace smiled when Access Hollywood brought up his future brother-in-law on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards show in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Chace, however, had a little advice for Tony as he transitions from single man to Crawford family member.

“Tony needs to get a real job like me,” Chace said with a smile. “But, I mean other than that I think he’s gonna be OK.”

The “Gossip Girl” star added that he and Tony are pals and he is looking forward to the wedding.

“We get along very well, so I’m very excited for both of them,” he noted.

Tony and Candice, a former Miss Missouri, began dating in late 2009, not long after he and Jessica Simpson split up. He proposed to Candice in December 2010.

While they will shortly become family, Tony and Chace have another connection. They both were previously romantically linked to former “American Idol” Carrie Underwood.
