Chace Crawford has signed on to star in the film “Peace, Love, and Misunderstanding,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The trade mag reported that the “Gossip Girl” star would join Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener in the indie drama, playing a “war-protesting butcher.”
Chace was mostly recently attached to the big screen remake of “Footloose,” but reportedly dropped out of the film due to scheduling concerns.
As previously reported by AccessHollywood.com, the star was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession last week following an arrest in Texas.
