Swedish pop sensation Robyn has been announced as headliner at White Party Palm Springs’ Saturday night main event on April 9.
Jeffrey Sanker made the announcement today and also revealed that select performers from Las Vegas’s “Zumanity: The Sensual Side of Cirque du Soleil,” will also appear throughout the evening.

Charo says she has a beef with her neighbors. The Spanish-American guitarist and entertainer says she had to give up her pet bull after a neighbor in Beverly Hills, Calif., complained about the smell of its feces.
Charo says she adopted the bull calf after they filmed an anti-bullfighting video together for the animal rights group PETA in 2009. She says now the bull has grown “Beverly Hills people complain” about the aroma.

Despite the struggling economy, officials with the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon say contributions and pledges from this year’s Labor Day event totaled $58.9 million.
While the amount was down from $60.5 million last year and a record $65 million in 2008, Lewis said he was pleased with the support to advance the research and service programs of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
