LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) did indeed visit Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s home on Sunday night, as has been widely reported, a rep for the “Two and a Half Men” star told Access Hollywood.

“CPS went to Charlie[‘s] home as a matter of routine procedure,” the rep said.

Additionally, a source claimed to Access Hollywood that the visit was uneventful. However, the source claimed it was triggered by an anonymous tip to Child Services from someone who thought Sheen was doing drugs. According to the source, Child Services came out, checked on Sheen, who was fine, checked on the children – twins Bob and Max – who were also fine, and left.

Additionally, on Monday, TMZ.com reported Mueller left rehab facility The Canyon in Malibu due to a privacy breach, something the source claimed is true.

The Web site reported that a patient admissions document was sent by someone at The Canyon to members of the media. The document reportedly was specific about the reasons Mueller was in rehab. A spokesperson for The Canyon rehab facility told Access Hollywood “no comment” when asked about the alleged breach.

TMZ reported that Mueller is now staying at an undisclosed friend’s home in Los Angeles.
