Chris Brown & Rihanna To Appear In Court June 22

Caption Chris Brown, RihannaLOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Chris Brown and Rihanna will reunite on June 22 – in court.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is expected to subpoena Rihanna, and she will have to appear at Brown’s June 22 preliminary hearing on felony charges, the “Umbrella” singer’s lawyer told Access Hollywood on Thursday.
In related news, on Thursday, LA Superior Court Judge Patricia Shnegg denied two motions filed by Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos, who had asked for LAPD records pertaining to the leak of a photo of a bruised Rihanna taken after Brown allegedly assaulted her on February 8. The judge also ruled that the leaked photo did not invalidate charges against Brown.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, in April, Brown pled not guilty to charges of assault and criminal threat against Rihanna.
Brown issued a YouTube video on Wednesday proclaiming he “ain’t a monster” and announcing the release of a forthcoming album, “Graffiti.”
While the two singers reportedly spent time together in the weeks following the February 8 incident which left Rihanna in the hospital, the “Take A Bow” singer has since been linked to singer Drake and Los Angeles Lakers star Andrew Bynum, who has denied the dating rumors.
