Chris Rock has made a name for himself with his sharp-edged humor and observations about race in America. Growing up in Brooklyn and attending a mostly white school put him on the unfortunate receiving end of the ugly side of racism plenty during his youth. He turned it into humor that hits hard and accurate.
He’s been busy building a successful career as one of the funniest comics working today. Along the way he’s won multiple Emmy Awards for his HBO shows and even hosted the Oscars, in which he promised to keep it clean… mostly.
