Christina Aguilera
overview
Tons of talent, a booming 5-octave vocal range, and a savvy determination have put Christina Aguilera at the top of the charts since her first album was released in 1999. Her sometimes naughty lyrics and steamy, sexy style have also generated more than a fair bit of controversy for the best-selling singer.
She’s also proved to be a successful cross-over in to the Latin market with her 2000 album release “Mi Reflejo,” which contained a mix of re-released hits and new material. Then in 2006 she went “Back to Basics,” her album tribute to the basics of jazz, blues and soul music. She and her husband, Jordan Bratman, welcomed their first child, Max Liron, in January 2008.
