CinemaCon 2012 Announces Honorees for Star-Studded Gala

LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Caption Taylor Kitsch poses at the ‘Battleship’ press conference in South Korea on April 5, 2012 The big screen’s biggest stars will descend upon Las Vegas in April for CinemaCon 2012 — one of the largest gatherings of movie theater owners and industry professionals from around the world – and Access Hollywood will be there for all the action!

CinemaCon 2012 will once again celebrate the movie-going experience in Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace with a star-studded CinemaCon Awards show hosted by Billy Bush. The week long event will include the largest tradeshow in the world, as well as events, seminars, screenings, and a gala award show dedicated to honoring the most talented people in the industry.

Honorees were announced by the National Association of Theatre Owners.

Taylor Kitsch – CinemaCon Male Star of Tomorrow Award

Michelle Pfeiffer – 2012 Cinema Icon Award

Judd Apatow – CinemaCon Award of Excellence in Filmmaking

Josh Hutcherson - CinemaCon Breakthrough Performer of the Year

Jeremy Renner – CinemaCon Male Star of the Year Award

Diego Boneta – CinemaCon Rising Star of 2012 Award

Chloe Grace Moretz – CinemaCon 2012 Female Star of Tomorrow

Charlize Theron – CinemaCon Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film Award
