NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy are engaged, a rep for the couple confirmed to People.

Danes, 29, and Dancy, 33, have been dating for more than a year.

They met while filming the 2007 movie “Evening.”

Danes recently finished shooting the film “Me and Orson Welles,” co-starring Zac Efron.

Dancy stars alongside Isla Fisher in the upcoming comedy “Confessions of a Shopaholic.”
