Jakarta, Indonesia --

No more broken promises.

That’s what “Ocean’s Thirteen” costars Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Matt Damon have asked for in a new full-page advertisement published Wednesday in the Indonesian English language newspaper, the Jakarta Post.

The ad, titled “Burma’s Broken Promises,” calls for more aid for the beleaguered region in the wake of Cyclone Nargis. “Burma’s neighbors have the power to help victims who remain desperately in need,” it reads.

Endorsers of the ad include regional leaders and Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi.

The campaign is backed by Not On Our Watch, an activist group chaired by the Hollywood power trio along with Don Cheadle, Jerry Weintraub and David Pressman.

Help is desperately needed in the region, with the U.N. estimating that 2.4 million people are still in need of aid and over 138,000 are dead or missing. Myanmar’s ruling junta has been resistant to foreign assistance but allowed in an Association of Southeast Asian Nations team on June 2, according to the AFP.
