-- Winter is coming to Westeros and it’s about to get even a little more “Cold.”

According to Entertainment Weekly, Coldplay drummer Will Champion is joining Season 3 of HBO’s “Game of Thrones.”

Little is known about the details of the rock star’s stint on the popular fantasy drama, but according to the mag, Will is slated to play a role close to his heart – a drummer.

The Coldplay member joins a growing list of musicians involved in the HBO series. Snow Patrol lead singer Gary Lightbody also landed a cameo on the show.

“Game of Thrones” Season 3 returns to HBO on March 31, 2013.
