Comedy Central’s “Colbert Report” is off the air and it’s a mystery why.

An expected new episode of the show was replaced by a repeat on Wednesday. Comedy Central said Thursday’s live show will be off, too

A record 27.8 million people tuned in to see Ashton Kutcher’s highly anticipated “Two and a Half Men” debut on Monday, and one of those viewers was none other than the star who he replaced — Charlie Sheen.

Access Hollywood caught up with Charlie on Friday to get his take on Ashton’s performance, and not only did the veteran actor seemingly harbor no ill will against his younger replacement, he even offered kudos for the show’s new turn.

“Boardwalk Empire” captured a leading seven trophies at the creative arts Emmy Awards, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Justin Timberlake earning TV comedy series guest-star honors.

Paltrow, recognized for “Glee,” and Timberlake, a winner for hosting “Saturday Night Live,” were no-shows at Saturday’s ceremony for technical and other achievements. It preceded the main Sept. 18 Emmy show.
