Comic-Con 2014 is mere hours away and comic book fans, cosplay enthusiasts and some of Hollywood biggest stars will descend upon San Diego for the annual geekapalooza!
AccessHollywood.com runs down five possible movie moments that could literally have nerds exploding with pure joy and ecstasy.
"Star Wars: Episode VII": J.J. Abrams is currently filming the next movie in London, but Comic-Con would be the perfect time to have one of the newly announced cast members walk on stage with a lightsaber – or possibly the full title of "Episode VII" will be released. Any "Star Wars" news from this weekend is bound to reverberate through the galaxy.
"Batman v. Superman": Will footage from the upcoming superhero crossover debut? Will "Game of Thrones" star Jason Momoa be revealed as Aquaman? What about seeing Wonder Woman's costume finally? Or possibly Dwayne Johnson's rumored casting as Shazam/Captain Marvel will be revealed!?
“Avengers: Age of Ultron": The Avengers will be one of the Con's biggest draws this year (we can only presume!) and we're guessing fans will finally see footage of villain Ultron doing all sorts of horrible things to Earth's Mightiest Heroes… horrible things that the fans should go nuts over!
"Fantastic Four": Will Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Miles Teller and Jamie Bell make their debut at the Con? Fans have been dying to see what Josh Trank's reboot will look like and the Con's Hall H is a fantastic place "four" it!
And Cuz We Just Can't Pick 5: Here are five more movies that should elicit multiple nerdgasms! "Interstellar," "Jurassic World," "Fast 7," "Ant-Man" and "Doctor Strange" could have some major announcements and/or show footage that would send nerds running, screaming, and Tweeting.
Comic-Con International: San Diego 2014 runs from July 24 to July 27 and Access Hollywood will be on the scene capturing all the major moments! Follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all your Comic-Con cravings!
