LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
The man with the green ring in Warner Bros. big screen treatment of “Green Lantern” is reportedly down to Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the race to play the Hal Jordan, the pilot who is picked to become a member of the intergalactic police force known as the Green Lanterns, tightened this week.
All three stars have had two rounds of screen tests for the role and the studio reportedly likes different qualities about all three actors.
Michael Fassbender, “The Tudors” star Henry Cavill and Jared Leto were other actors once considered to play the super hero.
“Green Lantern” is slated for a December 2010 opening.
