Just two days before “Glee” star Cory Monteith was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room, the actor was said to be doing well.

Project Limelight Society co-founder Maureen Webb, who heads up the non-profit arts program for children and was one of Monteith’s mentors, spoke to People about her final dinner with the actor.

“He looked so good, so healthy,” she told the mag. “I hadn’t seen him look that good in a long time.”

The “Glee” star, Webb and the actor’s manager enjoyed a night out at Vancouver’s East of Main, where she noted that no one drank any alcohol.

“We ate a lot of food,” she recalled. “We drank the rhubarb lemonade.”

Webb explained to the mag that Monteith arranged the meeting where he expressed interest in becoming more involved in the youth art program, which he had supported since its launch in 2011.

“I told him, ‘I remember everything we talked about when we first talked about this project. Now it’s happening.’ His face just lit up. He was in great spirits,” she recalled.

Days earlier on July 6, the actor – who had multiple stints in rehab over the years – was photographed at Vancouver’s The Shop, a local coffee house and store for motorcycle enthusiasts, where he was seen spending time with a group of friends.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the actor – who found fame as Finn Hudson on the Fox musical series – was found in a hotel room on the 21st floor of the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in downtown Vancouver on Saturday afternoon. An autopsy on the actor is scheduled for today. However, police have said no foul play is suspected in Monteith’s death.
