Could Britney Spears Be Hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ Again Soon?

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Caption Britney Spears is seen at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards Could Britney Spears be hosting “Saturday Night Live” again in the very near future?

While rumors surfaced on the Internet earlier today that the pop star was returning to “SNL’s” hallowed floors in late November, a rep for the show said they are simply rumors.

A rep for “SNL” told Access Hollywood that there is “no truth” to the story that the “Womanizer” singer is hosting the hit sketch comedy show next month.

Spears, however, will be in New York in December. The pop star will visit “Good Morning America” on December 2 and will treat watchers to a musical performance.

Her new album, “Circus,” will be released that same day, her 27th birthday.
