Although she is perhaps most famous for being married to Kurt Cobain of Nirvana fame at the time of his suicide, Courtney Love is certainly a celebrity in her own right. Unfortunately, a lot of her celebrity stems from her frequent bouts with drugs and the police. No doubt she’s a talented singer and actress. Her band Hole, enjoyed tremendous success with their album, “Live Through This,” which released shortly after Cobain’s death. And she garnered a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Larry Flynt’s wife in “The People vs. Larry Flynt” in 1996.
But her troubles keep garnering the headlines. Arrests… Temporarily losing custody of her daughter… House arrest… assault charges… and legal and financial troubles have dogged her through most of the last decade. She has recently put her life back together, and relocated to Europe with her new band. We’ll have to wait and see what the next chapter brings.
