Miley Cyrus is heading to “Sex and The City 2,” Access Hollywood has learned.
The teen pop sensation, 16, will film a cameo in the second big screen installment of the HBO series, a source close to Miley told Access.
Gossip Cop reported on Friday that Miley will appear in a scene with Kim Cattrall’s character, Samantha Jones.
Mario Cantone, who plays Anthony in the franchise, reportedly quips, “Mother of God! She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana,” to Samantha when she steps out in the same outfit as Miley.
The Disney teen star previously told Access Hollywood she was a big fan of “Sex and The City,” which stars Kim, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. She also said she was hoping to star in a teen version of the popular franchise. “I would like to be able to have that show because I feel like so many girls do watch that show and I feel like there should be one that is a little more kind of like, censored and age-appropriate,” Miley previously said.
The singer/actress also told Access she fell in love with the show because of its focus on style.
“One reason why I love the show so much is because of the fashion,” Miley said. “I love the fashion in it and I love the stories of the girls, not of anything else, but of the girls coming together and having lunch and just gossiping and talking.”
