Dakota Fanning Arrives In Vancouver For ‘New Moon’

VANCOUVER, Canada -- Caption Dakota Fanning walks the red carpet at the NAACP awardsDakota Fanning is ready to show her “New Moon” fangs.

The star was spotted today arriving in Vancouver to shoot the “Twilight” sequel, according to People. Dakota is playing Jane, a pint-sized Italian Volturi vampire.

The star posed with fans outside her hotel and signed autographs before heading out for a bite to eat.

Michael Sheen, who plays Aro, the leader of the Volturi, reportedly arrived a few hours earlier, as did Jamie Campbell-Bower, who plays Caius, a fellow Volturi vampire.

“New Moon” star Ashley Greene told Access Hollywood last week that the crew would be jetting off to Italy to film some of the Volturi’s scenes “at the end of May.”

“I think we’re only there for five days, but I’m super excited,” she said. “I haven’t been before, so it’s going to be really fun!”
