LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The Season 2 premiere date for “Dallas” has been set.
The rebooted primetime drama will premiere its second season on January 28 on TNT.
“Dallas” follows the stories of the Ewing family, headed up by Larry Hagman (J.R.) and Patrick Duffy (Bobby), and their offspring — John Ross (Josh Henderson) and Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe).
At the end of Season 1, show audiences were rocked by the revelation that Rebecca Sutter, who was pregnant with Christopher’s babies (twins!) is actually the daughter of Cliff Barnes (Ken Kercheval).
On Tuesday, TNT also announced “Southland” will return for its fifth season on February 13, 2013 and “Rizzoli & Isles” and “Leverage” will return for a run of episodes on November 27, 2012
The network also revealed the premiere dates of two new shows – “Monday Mornings” from David E. Kelley and Sanjay Gupta – which begins airing February 4, 2013, and “Boston’s Finest,” an unscripted series with access to the Boston Police Department, from executive producer (and “Blue Bloods” star) Donnie Wahlberg, on February 27, 2013.
