Maksim Chmerkovskiy is heading back to “Dancing with the Stars” – as a judge.
The veteran pro dancer will return to the ballroom as a guest judge for the show’s semifinals round on Monday, November 18, ABC announced on Thursday.
Maks – who was known for making his opinions heard if he disagreed with the “DWTS” judges – will sit alongside Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba for the reality dancing competition’s first ever plugged/unplugged night.
(Each competing couple must dance to two versions of the same song – one plugged, one unplugged.)
Maksim isn’t the first pro dancer to return to act as guest judge – former two-time mirrorball champ Julianne Hough made an appearance an last month.
The hunk, whose brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, was eliminated from the Season 17 competition on Monday (with partner Elizabeth Berkley Lauren), was on “DWTS” for 13 seasons.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
