LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Daniel Radcliffe arrives at the 62nd Annual Tony Awards in New YorkCaption Daniel Radcliffe arrives at the 62nd Annual Tony Awards in New YorkDaniel Radcliffe will have appeared in eight films as the world’s most famous boy wizard when “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” debuts in 2011, but he’s already formulating a plan to shake magical teen image — and it could involve a pair of high heels and eye shadow.

“I think part of me would love to play a drag queen,” Daniel told Details magazine’s October issue. “Just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye makeup.”

In addition to possibly getting in touch with his feminine side, Daniel is reportedly planning on digging deeper into his acting talents to play slain British photojournalist Dan Eldon in the upcoming biopic “Journey.”

Daniel believes his work, and not his off-screen antic-free life, is what sets him apart from his young Hollywood counterparts.

“I don’t pretend to do anything particularly wild,” he told the mag. “People talk about rebellion and they say, ‘Where is the teenage angst?’ But I say I try to do it simply by the choices I make in the work I do. I just like wrong-footing people. I write poetry and I love it. I like being different from most other people in my generation.”

One example of how he differs from his peers is that the young star spends some of the reported $50 million he made to finish the “Potter” series in artistic pursuits

“The only thing I’m likely to spend [it] on is artwork,” Daniel, who drives a Volkswagen Golf GTI, told the mag. “‘Cause that’s the only thing I’m interested in that costs a lot of money.”
