LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Carrie Underwood will be returning to FOX, when she headlines a holiday variety special on December 7, Access Hollywood has learned.
During the two-hour special, airing on FOX at 8:00 PM EDT, Carrie will perform new music from her upcoming album, “Play On,” as well as previous hits and holiday classics.
The country cutie will be joined on stage by special musical guests Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley and David Cook – with additional guest stars to be announced.
Carrie’s holiday variety special is a production of Big Red 2 Entertainment, and is executive-produced by Simon Fuller, Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman. Shankman and Lythgoe also serve as directors of the special.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two-hour show is tentatively titled “Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special.”
