She did it again: Britney Spears was the most popular search term on Yahoo for the fourth year in a row — her seventh time topping the list.
Spears bested World Wrestling Entertainment, Barack Obama, Miley Cyrus and the online game “RuneScape” as the five most-searched terms of 2008, the Web portal and search company announced Monday, a day before the singer released her new album “Circus.”

William Balfour has been arrested for the murders of Jennifer Hudson’s relatives, Chicago police confirmed to Access Hollywood.
Balfour, 27, has been in police custody since October 24, the same day the bodies of Jennifer’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson, were discovered in the family home.

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge has awarded Kirsten Dunst a restraining order against a man who was arrested for trespassing on her property.
Dunst was granted the restraining order last Wednesday against Christopher Smith, after the man showed up at her property and attempted to enter her home, according to the court papers obtained by Access Hollywood.
