Say what you will about David Hasselhoff, and people have indeed said plenty, he's an undisputed international star with a huge list of television, film, stage, singing and producing credits to his name. Who know all that would come from a guy who used to talk to his car in “Knight Rider”?
As huge as Hasselhoff has been in the U.S., he's even more larger than life in Europe, where his particular brand of cheesy sincerity is taken to heart. His career has seen some significant ups and downs but he will always be remembered most by fans for his portrayal of “Mitch Buchannon” for over a decade on the mega hit series “Baywatch.” He was also a producer of the series and has gone on to produce and star in other “Baywatch” spin-offs.
In recent years, The Hoff (as he's affectionately known) has been a judge on the NBC reality show "America's Got Talent." Additionally, his bitter divorce from ex-wife, Pamela Bach, and their ensuing custody battle for their two minor daughters, has kept him in the headlines.
