LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Michael Jackson’s 79-year-old mother, Katherine Jackson, will reportedly get full custody of the singer’s three children.

Debbie Rowe, the mother of Jackson’s two eldest children, will reportedly not give up her parental rights but will not make a claim for custody.

“There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson,” her attorney, L. Londell McMillan, said during an appearance on CBS’s “The Early Show” on Thursday. “It’s an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money.”

NBC’s the “Today” show reported that a mutual agreement was made between both parties that the children remain with the Jackson family.

Rowe will have visitation rights in order to develop a relationship with the children.

Rowe reportedly concluded that she should not make a custody claim.

According to a “Today” show source, it is believed that Prince Michael, 12; and Paris Katherine, 11, know that Rowe is their mother.

The source also said “everyone [was] behaved well” and believes that “Debbie Rowe is doing the right thing.”

Jackson’s youngest, Prince Michael II, 7, was born from an undisclosed surrogate.

The agreement is expected to go before Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday morning.

In other Jackson news, McMillan also said that reports of Jackson leaving the family with more debt than worth are not true.

“That estate is worth, in my estimation, a couple of billion dollars,” he said. “You hear $500 million. Don’t buy it.”
