overview
Extreme ups and downs have indelibly marked the life of former Brat Pack member Demi Moore. Coming from her roots in a nomadic family, she went on to earn $12.5 million for a single movie and to become (at one point) the most highly paid actress of her peak era.
After high school, she first tried modeling as a pin-up girl and then, in the early 80’s, made her move in to acting. She turned in a number of forgettable performances until she tapped in to stardom in the mid- 80’s with back to back roles in “St. Elmo’s Fire” and “About Last Night.”
She continued to turn in great performances and command even better salaries well in to the early 90’s with roles in such box office gold mines as “Ghost” and “A Few Good Men.”
Now married to third husband Ashton Kutcher, who is 16 years her junior, Demi’s quietly making her mark as a rediscovered and newly appreciated actress. She splits her time between the couple’s home in Idaho and her life in Hollywood with Ashton.
