Demi Moore Memoir Scheduled For Release In 2012

HarperCollins announced Monday that it had acquired a “candid” memoir by the raspy-voiced star. The book will cover her life and career and is tentatively scheduled for release in 2012.

The book doesn’t have a title yet. Moore had shopped the book around with several publishers.

The 47-year-old Moore has acknowledged a troubled upbringing. HarperCollins says the narrative will be “framed by her complicated relationship with her mother, Virginia King.”

Moore is known for her work in such films as “Ghost” and “Indecent Proposal.” She appeared nude on the cover of Vanity Fair while pregnant and married to Bruce Willis. She has been married to Ashton Kutcher since 2005.
