Dennis Quaid & Wife Expecting Twins

-- NEW YORK, N.Y.(June 11, 2007) — Dennis Quaid and his wife, Kimberly, who are expecting twins by a surrogate mother, know the sex of the babies — a boy and a girl.

The couple are the biological parents of the twins, due later this year, Quaid publicist Cara Tripicchio said Monday. The pregnancy was announced last month.

Quaid has a 15-year-old son, Jack Henry Quaid, from his marriage to Meg Ryan.

Screen credits for the 53-year-old actor include “Far From Heaven,” “The Rookie,” “The Right Stuff,” “Great Balls of Fire!” and 1998’s “The Parent Trap,” co-starring Lindsay Lohan.

Quaid and Kimberly Buffington were married in 2004.
