NEW YORK, New York --

Stars including Sean “Diddy” Combs, Cindy Crawford, Hugh Jackman, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Karolina Kurkova and Ivanka Trump are set to gather at locations across New York City on September 10 for Fashion’s Night Out, a shopping extravaganza that is the brainchild of Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company and the City of New York.

“On the evening of September 10, Fashion’s Night Out, spanning all five boroughs, will highlight why New York City’s vibrant and diverse fashion-and-retail industry is admired throughout the world,” George Fertitta, CEO, NYC & Company said in a statement. “The citywide celebration will showcase the unique shopping opportunities available to New Yorkers and visitors, while encouraging retail support and giving back to important NYC causes.”

Joining the star-studded list at the series of events will be designers including Roberto Cavalli, Manolo Blahnik, Tommy Hilfiger and Isaac Mizrahi.

In addition to the stars and designers, the events will help others — 40 percent of the proceeds from the sale of a limited edition Fashion’s Night Out T-Shirt at participating retailers will be donated to the September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center. Additionally a clothing drive, which begins on September 10, will benefit the NYC AIDS fund.

“Little did I think when the idea of Fashion’s Night Out was first dreamed up this past March during the Paris collections that we would have over 700 and counting retailers, designers, and brands joining us on the night of September 10,” Anna Wintour, Editor In Chief of Vogue said in a statement. “Of course, I’ve always known the New York fashion industry to rise brilliantly to a challenge, but I am absolutely thrilled, awed, and more than a little proud that it has reacted so brilliantly to this initiative. There is so much planned that we could shop till dawn and still not see and do everything.”
