Love didn’t go so well the first time around for “The Bachelor’s” Brad Womack.
Now, the Texas stud is getting a second chance at romance with 30 new women and today, ABC revealed the women vying for his affections when the show returns to ABC on Monday, January 3. They include a funeral director, a Radio City Rockette, several teachers and a pair of nannies.
Brad, 37, is not the only one hoping for a second shot at finding true love, the group of women (who range in age from 24 to 32) also includes a divorcee. In the premiere episode, the first woman out of the limo, Chantal, a 28-year-old divorcee from Seattle, Wash., greets Brad with a slap across the face for his past antics - which “Bachelor” fans remember well. He decided not to chose either of his final two contestants (DeAnna or Jenni) during Season 11. ABC has been milking that slap footage in promos running for the last several weeks.
During the cocktail party, 29-year-old Raichel, a self-proclaimed “manscaper” from Fullerton, Calif., demonstrates her talents by removing some of Brad’s hair. Keltie, a 28-year-old Radio City Rockette, teaches Brad how to do the famous Rockette kick. While Madison, a 25-year-old model from Brooklyn, New York, reveals her strange orthodontics — she’s got fangs! Where’s vampire Bill when you need him? Will it be “True Blood” for Brad and Madison?
By the end of the first night, Brad will send 20 ladies packing. Brad says he spent two years in therapy trying to find himself and is ready, once and for all, to settle down. When I spoke to him back in October, he said this second time around felt very different for him. He admitted to forming stronger connections with some of the girls earlier than last time. However, the question remains — will viewers and fans give Brad a second chance and actually tune in for Season 15 or will he be unlucky in love and ratings this season?
