Dominic Monaghan Joining Cast Of ‘FlashForward’

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- Caption Dominic Monaghan arrives at the screening 20th Century Fox’s ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ at the Chinese Theater, Los Angeles, April 28, 2009ABC says Dominic Monaghan is joining the cast of its upcoming sci-fi drama, “FlashForward.”

Monaghan is best known as the doomed rock star Charlie from ABC’s “Lost.”

He will face new challenges on “FlashForward,” when the world’s population simultaneously suffers a blackout, then recovers with visions of what may, or may not, be waiting in the future.

Previously announced stars of “FlashForward” include Courtney B. Vance and Sonya Walger.

It premieres Sept. 24.
