Zac Efron has been looking to shake up his film roles – and at last night’s Los Angeles premiere of “17 Again,” he told Access Hollywood that one of them might be the title character in “Jonny Quest.”

Hawaii’s lieutenant governor and some in the state’s tourism industry aren’t laughing over a “Saturday Night Live” skit they fear could deter people from visiting the islands.
The four-minute skit, an exaggerated portrayal of how annoying and frustrating it can be to deal with tourists, depicts a pair of disgruntled locals who sing and dance for mainland visitors.

He still might be best known as a man of action, but don’t plan on calling Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” anymore. Years after completing his mission of conquering the WWE wrestling circuit, Johnson has a new one — conquering the box office.
“I love physicality and it’s been a while since I have gone back to the genre because I was just waiting for the right opportunity,” Dwayne told AccessHollywood.com’s Dish of Salt, Laura Saltman, in an interview about his latest film, “The Race to Witch Mountain.” “The action in this was a great opportunity for me to kick some ass.”

Audiences still get Maxwell Smart.
Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway’s “Get Smart,” the Warner Bros. big screen update of the 1960s spy sitcom, raked in $39.2 million to debut as the No. 1 weekend movie, according to studio estimates Sunday.
But movie-goers did not get Mike Myers’ “The Love Guru,” the weekend’s other new wide release. The Paramount Pictures comedy about a self-help mentor took in just $14 million to open at No. 4.
