LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Heidi Montag is temporarily leaving her husband, King Spencer Pratt (aka: the man voted the AH Nation’s ‘Biggest Reality TV Bitch’), for a little girl time.

The reality starlet is slated to guest co-host on the “The View” on October 1 sitting in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is on maternity leave until mid-October, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Heidi – along with Spencer – has appeared on the daytime ABC chat fest three times before.

No telling how hot the talk show will get when Heidi next mixes it up with the leading ladies of daytime. During their last appearance Whoopi Goldberg told the couple, “You better get yourselves together or you’re going to be in the street. You’re going to have to take responsibility. You’re too old now. Last year it was cute. Now you’re adults.”

Heidi joins the growing list of celebs that have filled in for Elisabeth during her absence. A variety of guest co-hosts, including Meghan McCain, Kate Gosselin, La Toya Jackson, Alexandra Wentworth, Mika Brzezinski and E.D. Hill, have been filling in for the 32-year-old mother of three.

Melissa Gilbert, Gloria Estefan, Lisa Ling, Ana Ortiz and “American Idol’s” Kara DioGuardi are also slated to guest host the show in the coming weeks.
