Prehistoric killer fish will get another chance to sink their teeth into audiences in an upcoming sequel to “Piranha 3D.”
Dimension Films, which released the over-the-top thriller this past weekend, announced Monday that part two is in the works.

A pair of new faces cemented themselves as part of Hollywood’s premiere box office franchises this week, as Hollywood recastings continue to change the landscape of some fan favorite films.
Andrew Garfield replaced Tobey Maguire as “Spider-Man,” while Bryce Dallas Howard made her debut as Victoria in “Eclipse,” taking over for the departed Rachele Lefevre.
However, Peter Parker and Victoria aren’t the only characters to be recast mid-series during their run – and they won’t be the last.
