No sibling rivalry here!
Access Hollywood caught up with “Super 8” star Elle Fanning, 13-year-old sister of actress Dakota Fanning, and the bubbly blonde was bursting with pride over her big sister’s most recent accomplishment – earning her high school diploma.
“It was amazing! It was two days ago, and she had the cap and the gown and the gold rope and everything,” a beaming Elle told Access of Dakota’s graduation ceremony at the premiere of her new film, “Super 8,” in Los Angeles on Thursday. “It was amazing.
“We went out to eat afterwards with a lot of friends and family and had sushi,” she added.
Elle, who will be heading into eighth grade in the fall, said that despite her sister’s monumental Hollywood success, continuing education is a priority for Dakota, 17.
“She is [going to college],” Elle told Access. “Somewhere on the east coast.”
As for Elle’s new sci-fi thriller, the actress said it’s sure to entertain audiences of all sorts, as it has a little bit of “everything in it.”
“When you see the trailer, there’s a lot of action for the guys, and then there’s a love story – a first love — it’s very sweet,” she told Access. “It’s about family and friends. It’s perfect.”
See Elle, alongside former “Friday Night Lights” hunk Kyle Chandler and AccessHollywood.com’s new Rising Star Joel Courtney, when “Super 8” hits theaters on Friday.
