NEW YORK, N.Y. --
ELLE, the world’s largest fashion magazine, today announced the line up for this year’s 16th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills Hotel on October 19.
Together with presenting sponsors Calvin Klein Collection and L’Oreal Paris, ELLE will bring together an intimate group of Hollywood’s best and brightest talent for a celebration dinner honoring women’s achievements in film. Additional sponsors include David Yurman & Moet & Chandon.
The tribute features a diverse group of women who, through their achievements, have had a profound impact on the industry.
This year’s honorees range from screen legend Julie Andrews to talented casting director Bonnie Timmermann, as well as several of today’s most critically-acclaimed actresses: Emily Blunt, Katie Holmes, Julianne Moore, Robin Wright Penn and Renee Zellweger. Emerging actress Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) will receive the Calvin Klein Collection Spotlight Award. Julie Andrews will receive the L’Oral Paris Legend Award.
“This is an incredibly strong, distinguished group of women, many of them icons, or icons to be,” said ELLE editor-in-chief Roberta Myers. “We are so proud to bring them together and celebrate their remarkable contribution to the industry.”
Past recipients of this honor include Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron, Jane Fonda, Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett, Gwyneth Paltrow, Salma Hayek, Sofia Coppola, Sigourney Weaver and Anjelica Huston. Celebrities walking the red carpet will be invited to sign a special Moet & Chandon bottle, to be auctioned off for charity.
