LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

The wedding date for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi is being kept secret, but perhaps not for long, thanks to news that the talk show host has opened up the invite list.

“Lots of people [have been invited],” Ellen told Access Hollywood at the Daytime Emmys. “It’s getting bigger and bigger by the day. Would you like to come?”

“She keeps inviting people,” added Ellen’s fiancee, actress Portia de Rossi.

One star definitely coming to the nuptials of the lovebirds is their pal, “Grey’s Anatomy” star T.R. Knight, the couple confirmed.

“I heard he invited himself so I guess we’ll invite him,” Ellen laughed. “No, he was on [the list].”

“He’s definitely invited,” Portia added.

Though their ceremony is sure to be festive, one thing the couple’s friends won’t have to worry about is purchasing gifts.

“We don’t have a registry, we don’t need anything,” Portia said. “We’ve been blessed enough, we don’t need any gifts from anybody.”

Scratch that. There is one gift the couple might be glad to take home after seeing it on the Daytime Emmy red carpet – a blanket bearing their faces in knit.

“Now that I see that there are blankets out there with our faces on it, we should collect them. So if anyone has a blanket with our faces, give it to us so that they’re not out there anymore,” Ellen said.
