Sofia Vergara Dishes On Her Emmy Wardrobe Malfunction!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Sofia Vergara took the stage with the cast and crew of “Modern Family” on Sunday night when the ABC series took home Best Comedy, but the actress almost gave the world a view of her backside assets.

Just minutes before her show’s big win, the actress’ skintight, beaded Zuhair Murad gown burst open, exposing her tush.

“Yes!!!! This happend 20 min before we won!!!! Jajajajja. I luv my life!!!!” Sofia Tweeted, and posted a photo of the wardrobe malfunction on her WhoSay page.

With the help of a seamstress, a needle, thread and her “emergency team” – which she affectionately dubbed them on Twitter – Sofia was ready to hit the stage with her assets covered.

Access Hollywood caught up with Sofia at the HBO Emmy After Party, where she explained that she had no idea at first that her butt was exposed.

“Everybody tried [to help me], but I thought nothing was happening, so I was like, ‘What? What?’” Sofia told Access.

The sexy star told Access that she didn’t feel self-conscious about sharing her wardrobe malfunction with the world on Twitter

“You know what… that happens to real people, you know, you sit down, your dress is too tight, your ass grew because you ate too much,” she told Access with a laugh.
