LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- “The Sing-Off” judge and Boyz II Men crooner Shawn Stockman will join AccessHollywood.com as a guest celebrity blogger, beginning this fall.
Shawn will give fans an exclusive inside look at the weekly highs & lows from the judges’ table, as well as his take on the behind-the-scenes action & what the cameras didn’t see from the NBC reality series’ upcoming third season (which debuts Monday, September 19).
“The Sing-Off” features 16 of the country’s best a cappella groups performing popular songs. They’ll be singing for America’s vote, where the winner will walk away with the ultimate prize - a Sony Music recording contract and $200,000.
“The Sing-Off” is hosted by multi-platinum recording artist Nick Lachey. Alongside Stockman, judges include musicians Ben Folds and Sara Bareilles.
“I’m so glad to be a part of the Access Hollywood family,” Stockman said. “I want this blog to be a voice from the celebrity side of what really goes on behind the scenes.
“We’ll talk about everything, the inside scoop on the show, info on Boyz II Men new album, and even some fashion tips,” smiles Stockman.
In addition, as newly announced inductees to receive their star on the world famous “Hollywood Walk Of Fame,” Boyz II Men’s new studio album Twenty will feature brand new material for the first time in 10 years. Twenty will be released as an exclusive only at Walmart later this fall on the group’s own label MSM Music, with partners Benchmark Entertainment.
Selling over 60 million albums worldwide and winning 4 Grammys, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men have broken numerous records in their 20 years, making them one of the biggest pop groups of all time.
Check back later this month for Shawn’s first blog — and each week for a new entry once the new season of “The Sing-Off” begins!
