The “Fantastic Four” reboot is circling in on its four actors.
According to Variety, a slew of stars are testing for the roles of Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic) and Sue Storm (the Invisible Woman).
There is reportedly a Westeros-sized battle for the role Mister Fantastic with two “Game of Thrones” stars, Kit Harrington and Richard Madden, both testing for the stretchy superhero.
But the part could already be going to Miles Teller, who was asked about the role this week at Sundance.
“Yeah, that should be happening in the next few weeks,” the actor said when asked if he would be playing Reed. However, sources told Variety that he misunderstood the question and is testing along with the “GOT” stars.
Kate Mara and Saoirse Ronan are reportedly in the running for the vanishing, force field-creating Sue.
Michael B. Jordan has reportedly already landed the role of Johnny Storm (The Human Torch, last played by Chris Evans, who is now Captain America).
No word on who is in contention for the role Ben Grimm (The Thing – remember the orange rock-covered hero with superhuman strength?)
“The Fantastic Four,” directed by Josh Trank, is slated to debut on June 19, 2015.
