LOS ANGELES, Calif. --

Newlyweds Fergie and Josh Duhamel followed up their Saturday Malibu wedding by jetting off to their honeymoon.

The couple was spotted Sunday afternoon at Los Angeles International Airport embarking on their romantic trip around 2 PM local time.

Fergie sported high-waisted jeans, blinged out with gold buttons, and blue boots, while Josh wore casual jeans and sneakers.

“They pulled up in a limo SUV, and Fergie got out first and smiled. She looked so happy. After Josh got out with a carryon bag, he immediately grabbed Fergie’s hand in a very loving and protective way,” an onlooker told People.

“Both said they really looked forward to their honeymoon. While making their way through airport security, the newlyweds waved to several fans,” the onlooker added.

Fergie even took some time to have a laugh with photographers about the possibility of a Fergie baby bump.

“I’m pregnant with twins!” she jokingly told fans and snappers, according to the mag.

As previously reported on Access Hollywood.com, the 33-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer wed the 36-year-old “Las Vegas” actor amid thousands of white roses at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu on Saturday.

The groom wore a Dolce & Gabbana suit, a source confirmed to Access Hollywood. Fergie wore the designer as well.

The couple reportedly exchanged engraved H. Stern rings.

The guest list reportedly included Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell, Kid Rock, Slash, Fergie’s fellow Black Eyed Peas, James Caan, Molly Sims, Vanessa Marcii and Stacy Keibler, who stopped by Access’ third annual Stuff You Must Lounge at the Sofitel hotel in LA on Saturday to have her hair done in a simple updo by Cristophe at the CVS/pharmacy Reinventing Beauty Bar and makeup done by Laura Geller at the Beauty 360 Prestige Suite before the ceremony.

Fergie’s “Nine” co-stars Kate Hudson, Marion Cotillard and Judi Dench were also set to attend, according to Access’ source.

Access broke the news of the couple’s weekend wedding date in December.
